Job Title: Event Coordinator – WE Connect Events

Location: Werribee, Australia

About Us:

Wyndham Entrepreneur Connect (WeConnect) is a premier B2B networking platform, dedicated to fostering business growth and collaboration within the Wyndham region. We organise ten premium events throughout the year, connecting local businesses, government bodies, and industry leaders.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Event Coordinator to lead and manage our WE Connect events. This is a casual, contact-based role, requiring at least two days a week, plus event days, typically on Wednesday nights of each month. Our office is located in the heart of Werribee City Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of ten annual WeConnect events.
  • Collaborate with B2B businesses, local, state, and federal government entities, and other organisations to ensure successful event outcomes.
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics, including vendor coordination, and attendee engagement.
  • Develop strategies to maximise business opportunities and partnerships through the events.
  • Work from our Werribee City Centre office and attend events, primarily on last Wednesday nights of the month.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in corporate event planning and management.
  • Strong understanding of B2B business environments and networking.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
