Role: Software Packaging SMELocation: Newcastle, NSW SydneyExperience: 4 – 7 yearsWork Arrangement: 3 days a week WFO in NewCastle. Key Responsibilities & Skills:
- Strong capability to produce clear, well-structured technical documentation
- Minimum 4+ years of experience supporting SCCM / Microsoft Intune application packaging
- Microsoft 70-243 certification or any latest SCCM-related certification is highly desirable
- Create, modify, and maintain application packages including MSI, MST, EXE, Intune Win32, and App-V formats
- Repackage applications to meet enterprise standards and deployment requirements
- Automate and deploy packaged applications using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM / SCCM)
- Leverage advanced deployment features such as dependencies, supersedence, and task sequences
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell
- Ensure unattended, silent, and scalable application installations and configurations
- Act as L3 escalation support for complex application and deployment issues
- Perform in-depth troubleshooting using tools such as Process Monitor (ProcMon) and Resource Monitor (ResMon)
- Assist with Operating System Deployment (OSD), image creation, maintenance, and upgrades
- Support task sequences for OS deployment and hardware refresh activities
- Support monthly Windows patch management cycles for clients and servers
- Deploy security updates, KBs, and bulletins and ensure compliance reporting
- Create and maintain technical documentation including SOPs, best practices, and knowledge base articles
- Provide documentation support for L1 and L2 teams
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and project management teams
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise security, compliance, and operational standards
- Design and deliver standardized, enterprise-ready application packages in MSI, MST, and scripted formats
- Work with software owners and stakeholders to gather and validate installation requirements
- Ensure applications are packaged for silent, unattended, and enterprise-wide deployments
