Job DescriptionProject Manager – Construction and Capex DeliveryLocation: Adelaide, South Australia Type: Full-time | Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote – flexible) Company: BGIS Deliver High-Impact Projects. Build a Career with Purpose. BGIS is hiring a dynamic Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of construction and capital works projects across operational and brownfield environments. You’ll oversee everything from strategic fit-outs to complex new builds and critical site upgrades—managing individual projects valued up to $10 million. This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, live environments and takes pride in delivering quality, on-time, and on-budget outcomes. If you’re a confident communicator, skilled at managing contractors and stakeholders alike, and ready to take ownership of major infrastructure initiatives, this is your next step. What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage the full project lifecycle—from planning and design to final delivery and handover
- Control budgets, forecasting, invoicing, and financial reporting
- Lead on-site activities and subcontractor coordination, ensuring safety and compliance across the board
- Drive delivery excellence through strong stakeholder engagement and proactive risk management
- Monitor key milestones, manage scope changes, and report progress to executive stakeholders
What You’ll BringTechnical Expertise
- Proven experience managing construction projects in live, operational environments
- Strong understanding of brownfield works, fit-outs, and capital upgrades
- Skilled in contract negotiation and management with vendors, consultants, and trades
- Knowledge of QA systems, WHS legislation, and environmental compliance
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and broader Microsoft Office suite
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or related field
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent experience)
- Current White Card
