Network Engineer

Position: Network Engineer

Location: Adelaide

Duration: 6 months

Network Engineer expertise across Cisco networking, Meraki, SD-WAN, wireless networking, and Check Point firewalls.

Technical Skills

Cisco Routing and Switching,Cisco Wireless Technologies,Cisco SD-WAN,Cisco DNA Centre (desirable)

Meraki Networks (Switching, Wireless and Security),Check Point Firewalls

Strong understanding of,

• TCP/IP networking,Dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
• Network security principles,VLANs, VRFs, QoS and segmentation,Network monitoring and troubleshooting methodologies

Project Engineering Experience

• Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise network infrastructure projects from design through to handover.
• Proven ability to develop HLDs, LLDs, implementation plans, and as-built documentation.
• Experience reviewing vendor designs and engineering drawings.
• Experience leading or supporting technical governance activities.
• Practical experience managing and implementing changes through ServiceNow
• Support network segmentation, resiliency, security, performance optimisation, and high-availability solutions.
• Provide SME guidance for network standards, governance, and operational readiness reviews.
