About The Role BRG is seeking experienced Program Manager Scheduling candidates to support the Defence Secret Environment Delivery Program within Military Systems Division, Defence Digital Group. This role will sit within the Program Management Office and support the development, maintenance and governance of the Integrated Master Schedule for the DSED Program. The successful candidate will work across business, engineering, ICT and capability teams to ensure schedule information is accurate, integrated and aligned to program delivery requirements. Key DetailsRole: Program Manager Scheduling Reference: D-8 / D-9 Program: Defence Secret Environment Delivery Program Division: Military Systems Division, Defence Digital Group Location: Canberra based, with travel as required Clearance: NV1 required, with ability to upgrade to NV2 if required Export Control: Ability to access export-controlled information is mandatory ITAR: Candidate must be able to comply with ITAR requirements DSN Access: Required on a regular and ongoing basis Duties & Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of the Integrated Master Schedule for the DSED Program, including creating and managing a consolidated program schedule that captures workstreams, milestones, dependencies and governance requirements across the JP2181 delivery environment. They will maintain schedule governance aligned with Defence Program Management, Digital Delivery and Capability Lifecycle processes, while ensuring scheduling artefacts, version control and baseline management comply with Defence frameworks and reporting standards. The role will also involve preparing program-level reporting packs, dashboards, milestone reports and schedule performance summaries, translating complex scheduling data into clear executive-ready reporting for senior leaders, governance boards and external stakeholders. The Program Manager Scheduling will coordinate schedule inputs across the program, support integrated delivery planning, identify and manage schedule risks, issues, slippage and dependencies, and support proactive mitigation planning and escalation. This role will also support program-level planning events, readiness checkpoints, milestone reviews, IMS walk-throughs, planning workshops and governance reviews with internal and external stakeholders. To be Successful Candidates should have strong experience developing and maintaining integrated program schedules, with proficiency in MS Project/PWA and schedule analysis including critical path and dependencies. They should be confident producing executive-level program reporting and dashboards, managing schedule risks and cross-project dependencies, and engaging with both technical and senior leadership stakeholders. Experience within complex ICT, software or capability integration programs, particularly within DDG or CASG environments, would be highly regarded. Familiarity with Defence Program Governance, Digital Delivery Frameworks, assurance frameworks, Agile, Hybrid or scaled delivery environments would also be beneficial. Relevant certifications such as MSP, PRINCE2, PMP, PMI-SP, Agile certifications or scheduling professional certifications would be advantageous.
