As a People Partner, you will drive either our national Urban (Aged Care and Education) or Remote (mining villages and remote services) sectors, partnering intimately with Operations Managers, State Managers, and General Managers. This fast-paced role is for someone who loves coaching leaders and wants to leave their fingerprints all over our onboarding and employee experiences. You will wield serious influence from Cater Care’s central People Team, reporting directly to the General Manager, People alongside our dedicated People Services and Experience & Learning teams. Desired Skills And ExperienceWhat You’ll Do

  • Partner with high-level operational leaders and General Managers to align workforce priorities with commercial business outcomes.
  • Coach and mentor managers to optimise the critical first 90 days of the employee lifecycle, new hire experiences, and employee engagement.
  • Act as the primary conduit between operations and People Services to streamline hiring, workforce readiness, and candidate experiences.
  • Analyse regional and divisional workforce trends to support operational leaders with practical, data-informed decisions.
  • Deliver pragmatic, practical, and commercially balanced advice regarding complex leader, employee, and workforce matters.
  • Facilitate core annual people processes including formal Career & Capability Reviews and remuneration cycles.
  • Lead local workforce planning initiatives to ensure workforce stability and operational continuity across all business sectors.

You’ll Likely Bring

  • Career history that includes dedicated time spent in a HR advisory, or operational HR position.
  • Robust comprehension of modern industrial instruments, employment frameworks, Award interpretations, and practical HR application.
  • Practical exposure to supporting and empowering supervisory teams operating within multi-location, service-heavy, remote, or mobile business sectors.
  • Excellent interpersonal mechanics focused heavily on management coaching, stakeholder relations, and the ability to influence positive behavior.
  • Natural agility that gives you the ability to manage competing priorities and excel within high-tempo, demanding settings.
  • Valuable sector insights gained from working within hospitality, aged care, education, retail, healthcare, mining, facilities management, or contract services.
  • Willingness to travel to operational urban or remote sites as required based on operational and business needs.
