UX/UI Designer

• Location: Canberra, ACT
• Contract Term: 12 months + 2×12-month extensions
• Security Clearance: NV1 (mandatory)

Our client a federal government agency is seeking a skilled User Interface Designer and Adoption Manager to join its team. This role will support multiple Salesforce development projects, focusing on user experience design, stakeholder engagement, and change management.

You will be responsible for designing intuitive interfaces for both internal consoles and public-facing portals using Salesforce Public Sector Solutions. The role also involves conducting user research, preparing wireframes and prototypes, and supporting user adoption through training and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design wireframes and prototypes for Salesforce Lightning and Omnistudio interfaces.
• Conduct user research and document persona journeys.
• Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.0 and federal digital experience standards.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver user-centric solutions.
• Produce UX documentation, compliance assessments, and training materials.
• Support change management and user onboarding activities.

Key Skill

• 3+ years of experience in Salesforce UX design.
• Certified Salesforce User Experience Designer.
• Proficiency in Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Lightning, Omnistudio, and accessibility compliance.
• Experience with Visio or similar tools for mock-up creation.
• Ability to meet federal Service and Inclusion standards.
• NV1 security clearance.
