Logistics Manager

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager in Melbourne to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics operations for large-scale renewable energy projects.

In this role, you will manage the supply chain, transportation, and storage of materials and equipment, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

You will work closely with project teams, suppliers, and contractors to optimise logistics strategies and support the successful delivery of Australia’s renewable energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end logistics for renewable energy projects, including transportation, storage, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimise efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Manage third-party logistics providers and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Identify risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular reporting on logistics performance.

Required Experience:

• Proven logistics or supply chain management experience, ideally in renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, project planning, and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and contractors.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environments and manage competing priorities.

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline (preferred but not essential).
