About the role

Most field sales leaders in this industry have never had to win without a budget. This business does it every day. It can’t outspend the big four on gantry rent or counter deals, so every listing, every facing and every bit of visibility is earned through the sheer strength of the product and the quality of the selling. If you’d rather win that way, this role is worth a closer look.

You’d be joining an established international tobacco business with a long heritage and a portfolio of premium, category-leading brands. Alongside its core ranges, it has moved into the fast-growing nicotine pouch market with a premium product priced competitively against the market leaders. That gives you something compelling to take to retailers.

The role gives you real ownership. You’d lead a team of 9 field sales reps across a territory running from the M62 corridor through the North East and up to Scotland’s Central Belt. Developing those reps, shaping how they sell and turning data into better results in store would be yours to drive. You’d work closely with senior leadership, so your impact would be seen.

There is a strong progression path on offer, backed by real succession planning. For an ambitious field leader, especially one looking to move brand-side, this is a chance to build a long-term career directly with a brand owner rather than on a client contract.

The package matches the role: a good base salary, a strong bonus, a fully expensed company car and a comprehensive benefits package. This is a field-based role with time spent supporting the team across the region.
