About The Role

The Engagement/Administration Officer develops and supports effective relationships with a range of stakeholders including the Director, External Relations, External Relations Team, departmental staff, education and cross-sectoral stakeholders and delivers prompt, quality administrative support to the Director, External Relations. The Engagement/Administrative Officer will take part in stakeholder consultation on projects and provide support on engagement and consultation to other areas of the Department where needed while ensuring the implementation of effective and efficient processes.

The position will contribute to a department-wide approach to stakeholder engagement which provides ongoing monitoring, analysis and quality assurance of the External Relations engagement programs and provides continuous improvement to this process. The position will also contribute to the efficient organisation, operation, and delivery of the programs, strategies, and objectives of the External Relations Directorate.

Special conditions

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration

ASO5 $92,122 - $102,456 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
