An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, results driven salesperson to join our team. Based in Yatala and reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for servicing and growing a defined area of our business within Queensland. Regular travel will form part of this role and may include Far North QLD, Central & Western QLD, Wide Bay, and southern parts of the state down into Northern Rivers NSW. To be successful in this role, you will be a highly motivated individual who is deeply passionate about meeting and exceeding sales targets and delivering the highest quality customer service and support to our clients, dealers, and Internal members of the Digga team. You will possess the ability to build and maintain key relationships with the goal of increasing the performance of your assigned territory. Main Duties Include
- Build and maintain effective customer relations by understanding your customers and their needs and requirements
- Conduct regular business reviews and reports and deliver within designated timelines.
- Answering customer enquires both over the phone, via email, face to face and attending business appointments.
- Maintain systems and information with regard to potential equipment sales.
- Monitor market activity and implement sales strategies in line with findings
- Ability to cold call and generate new client sales
- Provide product training to dealers and Digga team members as required.
- Processing and management of quotations/customer orders
To Be Successful For This Role
- Previous experience in similar role
- Highly developed sales techniques relevant to the products
- Excellent communication/negotiation skills
- Confident in building rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent time management skills and high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with drive to meet and exceed results
- Experience with CRM systems highly desirable
- Current drivers’ licence
