We are looking for the right person who brings a genuine passion for early childhood education, a strong understanding of the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) and the confidence to lead, develop and implement a high-quality kindergarten program.
Operating from 6:30am - 6:30pm, our centre provides the perfect indoor and outdoor settings for 87 children to explore, and for you to deliver a world-class Kindergarten program.
About You - Our Ideal Early Childhood Teacher
- A strong understanding and passion for the Kindergarten Program and QKLG.
- The ability to plan, implement and evaluate engaging, play-based learning experiences.
- A commitment to supporting children's individual learning, development and school readiness.
- Confidence in documenting children's learning, assessing progress and identifying opportunities for further development.
- Thrives in inclusive, nurturing environments where every child feels seen and supported
- Committed to empowering children to grow as independent, curious, and resilient learners
- A commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive and stimulating learning environment.
- A passion for mentoring, sharing knowledge and contributing positively to the broader team.
- A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or an ACECQA-approved equivalent
- A current Working with Children Check
- Solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Full Australian working rights
- A professional, polished presence and warm approach
- A natural curiosity and confidence when connecting with families and the local community
- Demonstrated ability to deliver inspiring Kindergarten programs with heart and intention
- Two professional references are required, including one from a manager or supervisor in a childcare or education setting
