Technical Team Lead (.NET | Cloud | AI-First |)Lead a distributed team. Own architecture. Stay hands-on with modern AI tools.The Role We’re partnering with a high-performing tech business building a large-scale platform and investing heavily in AI-first engineering and offshore capability. This is a hands-on Technical Team Lead role where you will lead and uplift an offshore engineering team, own backend architecture and API-first systems, and write production code daily using modern AI-assisted tooling. What You’ll Be Doing  Leading a distributed team (including offshore developers), designing and building scalable backend systems, APIs, and services, owning architecture and technical direction, driving code quality through hands-on reviews and pairing, embedding AI into development workflows (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.), improving delivery practices (CI/CD, automated testing, API lifecycle management), and staying on the tools — coding is a core part of the role. You will also work closely with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, production-ready systems and take ownership of delivery end-to-end. What We’re Looking For Proven Technical Team Lead experience, strong .NET / C# backend expertise (including .NET Core / ASP.NET), deep understanding of object-oriented and domain-driven design, and proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs. You’ll have experience working with scalable, multi-tenant systems, strong SQL capability (Postgres and/or SQL Server), and exposure to cloud-hosted environments (AWS and/or Azure, including RDS). You are hands-on and actively coding, comfortable leading offshore or distributed teams, and confident setting technical standards through execution. You’ll also bring strong engineering discipline across automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and documentation that is actually used.
