We put people at the center of strategic change, from strategy through to implementation. ERM is a purpose-driven management consulting firm that partners with organisations to accelerate sustainability, improve environmental and safety performance, and navigate complex regulatory landscapes. We bring together strategy, digital innovation, and domain expertise to help clients transition to low-impact, high-performance operating models. Our Digital Consultants are central to this mission—designing and delivering the digital and data infrastructure that powers ESG, sustainability, and EHS outcomes. Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Digital Consultant to support the implementation and enhancement of EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) solutions. This role combines digital expertise, analytical thinking, and collaborative project work to deliver impactful results for sustainability-driven clients. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Co-lead end-to-end ESG reporting platform implementations, including system architecture design and data integration strategies
  • Facilitate strategic client workshops to define ESG/EHS technology requirements
  • Translate technical requirements into clear business recommendations for senior client stakeholders
  • Facilitate process mapping workshops with cross-functional client teams to identify optimisation and standardisation opportunities
  • Design current-state and future-state process maps that optimise ESG reporting workflows across departments
  • Conduct gap analysis and maturity assessments to benchmark client ESG capabilities from a technology/data lens
  • Support with technology vendor evaluation processes
  • Support proposal development and deliver compelling client presentations for new business opportunities

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Commerce, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of consulting experience focused on ESG, sustainability, or technology implementation
  • High proficiency in process mapping and workflow optimisation tools (Visio, Lucidchart)
  • Demonstrated track record of successful client engagements and achieving measurable business outcomes
  • Good proficiency in data analysis tools, visualisation platforms, and enterprise software systems

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with enterprise-level project management methodologies (PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma)

REQUIRED CANDIDATE COMPETENCIES:

  • Be comfortable with and embrace ambiguity
  • Ability to move from project to project with ease and reprioritise regularly
  • Have a sense of resourcefulness and the ability to “figure things out” independently
  • Embrace client deliverables with a “service attitude” mindset
