Our state government client is seeking an experienced Finance Project Support Officer on a temporary 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. As a Project Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of a financial and administration system across schools as part of Program Kaartdijin. You will provide high-level system support, deliver expert advice, and assist with deployment strategies. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level system support to schools and facilitate onboarding into the Kaartdijin solution.
- Deliver advice and solutions to issues raised by schools, building user capability and confidence.
- Assist with deployment and support strategies and coordinate activities across business areas.
- Contribute to developing procedures, practices, standards, and guidelines for program implementation.
- Maintain effective communication networks with schools, regional offices, central office, and external stakeholders.
- Support change management initiatives and represent the program on committees and working groups as required.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer service delivery and continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
- A financial background with practical knowledge of financial processes is highly essential.
- Proficiency of TechnologyOne (TechOne) or CiA systems is essential.
- Australian citizen or permanent resident.
- Demonstrated ability to support system implementation and resolve issues at an organisational level.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to consult and negotiate effectively.
- Proven ability to deliver high-level customer-focused services and work collaboratively under pressure.
