Security Risk Analyst

Your new company:

This Victorian government agency is the official insurer for third-party personal liability in road accidents. They are looking to hire Technology & Information Security Risk Consultant for a six month contract assignment.

About the Role:

In this role, you will provide technology risk consultancy to manage Information Security and Technology risks, influence leaders to deliver risk reduction activities, ensure strong governance throughout the project lifecycle, analyse new product proposals for compliance, and partner with project leaders to implement best practice solutions. You will also stay updated on industry best practices by participating in relevant forums and communities.

What you'll need to succeed:

The ideal candidate will possess robust technical skills, exceptional leadership qualities, and a steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality software. Key requirements include:

• Risk management in complex tech environments (cloud, Agile, transformation).
• Consult and influence senior executives.
• Engage external providers for secure outcomes.
• Understand modern IT solutions and security.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Manage risk across project lifecycle.
• Prefer CISSP, CISA, or similar certifications.
