Concrete Plant Batcher

Hymix are seeking a reliable, committed and safety-focused Concrete Plant Operator to join our team in South-East Queensland. You will be responsible for daily duties carried out at our Hymix concrete plants on the Gold Coast.

In Your New Role With Us, You Will

• Operate a Front-End Loader/Forklift.
• Carry out stocktaking of raw materials and other stocks.
• Work with dispatch and drivers to achieve efficient starting, finishing, and meal & rest times for drivers.
• Maintain the yard.
• Organise raw material deliveries.
• Carry out minor plant maintenance.
• Operating the batch plant.
• Balance our customers’ needs and allocation of fleet through effective planning and decision making to ensure maximum fleet productivity, utilisation and efficiency.
• Manage and monitor orders to ensure delivery and products meet quality requirements.

• Are a motivated individual that takes initiative.
• Eager to learn about all details relating to concrete plant operation and plant maintenance.
• Physically able to complete manual labour where required.
• Mechanical knowledge will be highly regarded.
• Works well within a small team.
• Are a team player who can multi-task and make quick effective decisions under pressure.
• Are a natural problem solver and enjoy planning and troubleshooting.
• Have reliable transport and Australian Driver’s License (P platers accepted) .
