Senior Business Analyst - Broadbeach, QLD

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the Ignite Engineering team in Broadbeach! Role Overview: As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in capturing business requirements and ensuring the successful implementation of our new travel booking systems. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and design solutions that drive efficiency and innovation. A day in the life:

• Gather and document business requirements, translating them into user stories and acceptance criteria within an agile software delivery team
• Develop use cases and process flows to support the development of software solutions
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand business needs and pain points
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that project objectives align with business goals
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams
• Participate in user acceptance testing and ensure that solutions meet business requirements
• Develop and maintain system documentation and training material
• Providing leadership within the project teams to ensure delivery of customer requirements and expectations

Who you are:

• Experience within travel or other internet-scale environments desirable
• Strong understanding of the travel or retail industry
• Extensive proven experience in key business analysis discipline areas including: requirements elicitation and documentation (as user stories, use case and acceptance criteria), process analysis and documentation, and organisational strategy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge in business process re-engineering and improvement
• Well-developed written and oral communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to conduct virtual meetings and workshops
• Excellent documentation skills, both technical and non-technical
• Attention to detail and effective organisation and time management skills
• Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
• 5+ years experience in a similar business analyst role
• Business Analyst formal qualification highly desirable
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central highly regarded
• UI/UX experience highly regarded
