The Position
Based at our Wingfield office, the Estimator will be required to work to deadlines while coordinating multiple tender submissions and liaising with the Project Management team on current projects simultaneously.
The Estimator will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the preparation of estimates for Tier 1 builders within the High-rise Apartments and Hotels based on drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents.
- Assisting in the preparation of tender submissions and proposals, ensuring they meet client requirements.
- Developing accurate scopes of work and conducting material take-offs.
- Analysing project plans, specifications, and other documents to fully understand project requirements.
- Maintaining detailed records of estimates, quotes, and other relevant documentation.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Is proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experienced in Construction Estimating
- Has a Construction industry qualification or Joinery background, which would be advantageous
- Demonstrates a results-driven, hands-on approach with a positive attitude
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Has the ability to work effectively in both a team environment and autonomously
- Has the ability to interpret and understand architectural drawings
