Production Worker

One of our long term clients in Unanderra is looking for multiple seasonal worker to join the team producing high quality concrete products. What You'll Be Doing As a Seasonal Production Worker, you will be a key part of the manufacturing process, performing a variety of tasks that ensure refractory products meet the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Mixing and Batching: Precisely measuring, weighing, and mixing raw materials (cement, aggregates, additives, etc.) according to specific formulas.
• Molding and Casting: Pouring the mixed refractory concrete into various molds, vibrating the material to eliminate air pockets, and ensuring proper shape and density.
• Equipment Operation: Operating and maintaining production equipment, including mixers, vibratory tables, and various hand and power tools.
• Safety & Maintenance: Following all safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organised work area, and assisting with general plant upkeep.
• Material Handling: Moving materials and finished products within the plant, which may involve heavy lifting.

What We're Looking For:

• Availability: Must be available to work throughout the entire seasonal period, including potential workdays close to public holidays.
• Physical Stamina: The ability to perform physically demanding work, including frequent lifting up to 25kg, standing for long periods, bending, and working in varying temperatures.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to following product formulas and ensuring product consistency and quality.
• Reliability: Excellent attendance record and a strong commitment to punctuality.
• Safety First: A strong understanding and commitment to workplace safety practices.
