Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Conveyancer at Impériale Conveyancing. The Conveyancer will manage end-to-end residential property transactions, including preparation, review, and lodgment of contracts, transfer documents, and settlement paperwork. Day-to-day tasks include advising clients on legal and procedural requirements, liaising with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and other stakeholders, and coordinating settlement timelines. The role involves conducting property and title searches, monitoring key dates, addressing legal issues related to ownership changes, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. The Conveyancer will also maintain accurate records, use digital conveyancing platforms, and communicate clearly with clients to provide updates and explain each step of the process.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law and experience with Legal Issues related to residential property transactions.
- Proficiency in Legal Consulting with clients, including providing clear, practical advice on conveyancing processes.
- Demonstrated ability in Legal Document Preparation, including contracts, transfer documents, and settlement paperwork.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex information in accessible terms.
- Relevant qualification in law, conveyancing, or a related field, and registration or licensing as required by local regulations.
- Experience using electronic conveyancing and property search systems, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple files and deadlines, and maintain high professional standards.
- Prior experience in residential conveyancing, including off-the-plan purchases, and refinancing, is highly beneficial.
