Role Description:

Are you passionate about designing and delivering high-performance enterprise network solutions? We’re looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team.

We’re seeking a seasoned network professional with strong expertise in enterprise networking, data centre technologies, and SD-WAN architectures. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience across routing, switching, security, and automation, along with the ability to lead end-to-end network delivery in complex, large-scale environments.

Proven experience in network implementation, and operational excellence is essential, along with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Location: Perth


Salary: AUD 108,571 – 119,893 Annual Gross

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Implement scalable, secure, and high-performing network solutions across WAN, LAN, WLAN, Data Centre, MPLS, and SD-WAN environments
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of network transformation initiatives, from deployment and optimization
  • Drive adoption of automation-first networking (ACI, SD-WAN, policy-based provisioning) to improve consistency and speed of delivery
  • Provide L3/L4 technical leadership for critical incidents, complex troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements including availability, performance, capacity, security, and resilience (BCP/DR readiness)
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, customers, and vendors to deliver reliable, future-ready network services
  • Lead capacity planning, performance tuning, and proactive health reviews to optimize network operations
  • Drive standardization, governance, and best practices across design and implementation
  • Continuously improve network stability, availability, and operational efficiency through automation and innovation

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in enterprise network design, architecture, and delivery


Preferred:


  • Familiarity with observability and telemetry tools (Splunk, Thousand Eyes, advanced monitoring)
  • Experience in large-scale migrations, transformation, or greenfield builds
  • Exposure to multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, F5, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service governance models
  • Certifications such as CCNA/ CCNP, Networking, or F5/Juniper
