About you and the role
You are a highly organised and commercially minded project delivery leader who can balance multiple projects while maintaining focus on financial performance.
You'll likely bring:
- 5+ years project delivery experience
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Demonstrated experience managing project budgets and GP performance
- Proven leadership of technical or engineering teams
- Exceptional planning, organisation and communication skills
- Experience with project management and scheduling systems
- Industrial automation, electrical, engineering or systems integration experience highly regarded
What Success Looks Like:
- Projects consistently achieve or exceed GP targets
- Engineering resources are fully utilised and effectively scheduled
- Forecasting is accurate and proactive
- Customers have confidence in our delivery capability
- Teams are supported, accountable and high performing
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of all Engineering Projects
- Own project profitability and GP performance
- Manage project forecasting, budgets and cost-to-complete
- Oversee engineering resource planning and Simpro scheduling
- Drive project governance, reporting and risk management
- Ensure invoicing readiness and WIP visibility
- Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team
- Monitor utilisation, capacity and workforce planning
- Maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships
So essentially, we're looking for an experienced & passionate Project Manager to help us with all-things projects, with an interest in also leading our tight-knit Engineering team. If you think you've got what it takes to help us grow, and are excited by fresh challenges, we encourage you to apply!
Working along side the Leadership Team and reporting directly to our COO, you will be responsible for the successful execution and management of industrial electrical, IIoT, and automation based projects, as well as a key influencer to our growing team and client-base.
You will also oversee the LMA aspect of our Engineering team, and additionally work side-by-side with our COO on operational business improvement initiatives.
