Are you early in your environmental career and ready to work on high profile, technically complex projects and collaborate with clients across Australia? As part of our Western Australia Contaminated Land Management team, you’ll have the chance to see parts of the country rarely experienced through regular travel, while contributing to exciting and challenging projects. With a strong pipeline of work and rapid business growth, we’re seeking a graduate environmental consultant to join our team. About The Role As a member of our Western Australia Contaminated Land team, you’ll work across a diverse portfolio of projects with a variety of clients and site locations. You’ll build and apply your field sampling skills while supporting Project Managers and Directors to deliver accurate, high quality reports and project outcomes. - Undertake fieldwork activities including soil, groundwater, and vapour sampling, site inspections, and contractor supervision.
- Assist Project Managers and Project Directors with the preparation of reports, proposals, and documentation.
- Support accurate data collection, management, and interpretation to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.
- Contribute to maintaining strong client relationships by providing reliable, professional, and responsive support in the field and office.
- Collaborate closely with team members to deliver high quality contaminated land consultancy services across a variety of projects and locations.
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (essential).
- Strong capability and desire to perform fieldwork, sometimes in remote settings and of a physical nature.
- Previous experience (up to two years) in contaminated land assessment and management is desirable.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare draft reports, proposals, and supporting documentation.
- Effective time management skills, with the ability to assist across multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and a genuine commitment to delivering quality outcomes for clients and colleagues.
- Full drivers licence and willingness to obtain a police and medical clearance.
