Business Development Manager – Digital MarketingMelbourne | Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days remote

Our client is a 15+ year established Australian digital marketing business helping businesses generate billions in leads, customers and revenue through digital!

They’re looking to add high-performing BDMs to their growing sales team.

This is a genuine hunter/closer role for someone who loves prospecting, speaking with business owners and winning new business.

You’ll be selling proven digital marketing solutions across SEO, websites, Google Ads, Meta Ads, social media and broader digital strategies.You’ll be joining a business with…

• 15+ years of proven success
• A strong position in the Australian SEO & digital marketing market
• A proven sales model
• Appointment setters generating opportunities with you
• Your own database and outbound channels
• Strong technical and delivery support

And importantly the numbers stack up!

BDMs are averaging $50K–$80K+ in monthly TCV, with top performers consistently delivering $200K–$300K+ per month.

There is genuine $200K+ OTE potential, with no ceiling for high performers.

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years B2B new business sales experience
• Experience selling digital marketing, SaaS, technology, advertising or professional services
• Confidence cold calling and speaking with business owners
• Strong commercial and consultative selling skills
• The ability to sell value, not price
• Strong follow-up and pipeline discipline
• A self-motivated, competitive approach
• You don't necessarily need to be a digital marketing expert.

What you’ll be doing:

Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.

• Follow up warm inbound opportunities
• Generate your own outbound pipeline
• Prospect and cold call Australian businesses
• Run discovery calls with business owners
• Identify digital growth opportunities
• Present solutions via Zoom
• Sell across SEO, websites, Google Ads, Meta Ads and more
• Handle objections, negotiate and close
• Manage your pipeline and CRM
• Work closely with marketing, strategy and delivery teams

The Package:Base: $100K–$140K + Super (dependent on experience)

Commission:

• 4% on $50K TCV
• 7% on $100K TCV
• Paid the following month
• UncappedLocation: Melbourne (East Melbourne)

Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days remote

This isn't an account management or order-taking role. It's for a hunter.
