About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Projects Team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will oversee the successful delivery of electrical projects across multiple sites, ensuring quality outcomes, safety, and performance aligned with our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for managing projects valued up to $2 million across a diverse portfolio, including healthcare, retail, education, hospitality and commercial sectors.
• Plan, manage, and deliver electrical projects from award through to completion, ensuring scope, time, cost, and quality objectives are achieved.
• Develop and maintain project programs, coordinating labour, materials, and subcontractors to meet agreed milestones.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, variations, and cost controls to ensure strong commercial outcomes.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Lead site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors, providing direction, support, and performance oversight.
• Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with WHS requirements, company policies, and relevant legislation and standards.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and variations, implementing mitigation strategies where required.
• Provide accurate project reporting, maintain required documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned.
• Represent M2 Electrical’s commitment to excellence in every interaction.

What We’re Looking For

You’re an organised, delivery-focused Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced project environments. Ideally, you bring:

• Proven experience (12 months+) managing projects in environments with strong Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements and robust documentation standards.
• Established network of industry relationships and are keen to further develop and leverage these in partnership with our team.
• The ability to work autonomously while effectively leading and collaborating with site teams and stakeholders.
• Strong computer literacy, communication skills, and attention to detail, with confidence using project and reporting systems. SimPro knowledge highly regarded, but not essential.
• A customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Excellent time management, organisational skills, and flexibility to manage competing priorities across multiple sites.

What You Will Need

• Current unrestricted Electrical Licence
• Construction Induction White Card
• Current CPR / LVR certification
• Manual Driver Licence
• Current Police Check (within the last 12 months) or the ability to obtain one.
