We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of our Western Australian recruitment portfolio.
This is an autonomous role suited to someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering end-to-end recruitment solutions. While supported by a national team, you'll be trusted to manage your own priorities, build your local market presence and create lasting value for clients and candidates.
Working closely with clients across a range of industries, you'll combine recruitment expertise with a proactive business development approach to grow existing partnerships and generate new opportunities throughout WA.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including advertising, sourcing, interviewing, reference checking and placement
- Building trusted relationships with clients and acting as a workforce solutions partner
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting and market engagement
- Conducting client meetings, workforce planning discussions and site visits across WA
- Growing and maintaining a strong pipeline of quality candidates through proactive sourcing strategies
- Reverse marketing candidates to current and prospective clients to create new placement opportunities
- Providing market insights, recruitment advice and talent attraction strategies to clients
- Maintaining accurate candidate and client records and ensuring compliance requirements are met
- Representing Maxima at networking events, industry forums and community activities
- Sharing market intelligence and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the Recruitment Services team

About You
You have experience in recruitment, labour hire, account management or a business development-focused environment and are comfortable engaging with clients at all levels.
You're someone who enjoys working autonomously, takes initiative and understands that great recruitment outcomes come from strong relationships and consistent market engagement.

- Proven experience in recruitment, labour hire, account management or business development
- Demonstrated success building and maintaining client relationships
- Confidence conducting client meetings, networking and identifying growth opportunities
- Strong candidate management and recruitment delivery skills
- A commercial mindset with the ability to understand and respond to client needs
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- The ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong communication with a remotely based manager and national team

- National Police Check and Working with Children Check
- A current driver's licence
