Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team.
The Role / Duties:
This is a full-time, Site based role, the position combines electrical engineering design with project delivery responsibilities, supporting projects from concept through to commissioning and handover.
You will work closely with office engineers, clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver practical, compliant, and reliable electrical and control system solutions.
The responsibilities of the position includes: -
· Liaise with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders throughout project delivery
· Prepare, review, or oversee development of:
- Electrical designs (SLDs, load schedules, distribution systems)
- Control system architectures (PLC/SCADA/DCS)
- Specifications and I/O documentation
· Develop both concept and detailed designs aligned with project requirements
· Review specifications and drawings, and support the preparation of proposals and quotations
· Provide technical guidance to drafting personnel and junior engineers
· Undertake site inspections to verify compliance with design and relevant Australian standards
· Support project delivery activities including coordination, troubleshooting, and commissioning
· Troubleshooting and fault-finding capability across electrical and control systems
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
· Experience in electrical power systems and/or instrumentation and control
· Experience delivering projects in industrial or regulated environments
· Familiarity with PLC/SCADA platforms
· Working knowledge of Australian standards and regulatory requirements
· Ability to operate in live operational environments
· Preferred understanding of relevant regulatory and compliance codes as they apply to the manufacturing / production and engineering environment i.e. GMP, GLP, ISO 9002, OH&S, TGA and FDA
· Advanced skills in MS-Project, MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Visio and MS-Outlook.
