Role Description The Marketing Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Collingwood, VIC, supporting the planning and execution of marketing activities that promote Mr. Smith’s brand and product portfolio. This position assists with go-to-market campaigns across digital and organic social channels, assists with the creation of artwork, and helps maintain brand consistency in all marketing materials. The role includes supporting in salon activation logistics, liaising with internal teams, agencies, and salon partners to ensure timely delivery of assets and communications.
The Marketing Coordinator also supports day-to-day administrative tasks for the marketing and wider team.
Qualifications preferred but not essential
- Experience in marketing coordination, including campaign support, calendar management, and basic reporting.
- Skills in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation for web, email, and social platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to maintain brand tone and messaging.
- Organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with common marketing and office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; familiarity with CRM, email marketing, or social scheduling tools is beneficial).
- The ability to create artwork from Canva, and the Adobe suite of products would be highly advantageous.
- Able to collaborate effectively with creative, sales, and education teams, as well as external partners and vendors.
- Strong interest in beauty, hair care, fashion, or luxury consumer brands is an advantage.
- Relevant post-secondary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
