Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Brisbane City, QLD. This position is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth across MVP1 Ventures’ digital product, automation, and AI solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and lead generation, conducting discovery calls, preparing proposals, and managing the sales pipeline from initial contact through deal closure. The role collaborates closely with product, delivery, and marketing teams to align client needs with MVP1’s service offerings and ensure clear expectations and successful onboarding. The Business Development Manager will also monitor market trends, contribute to go-to-market strategies, and represent MVP1 Ventures at industry events and networking opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strong business development, sales, and account management skills, with demonstrated ability to generate leads and close deals.
- Experience in consultative selling, client discovery, and solution-based selling, ideally within technology, SaaS, or digital product environments.
- Knowledge of digital product development, intelligent automation, and AI solutions, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
- Competence in CRM tools, sales pipeline management, and data-driven reporting to track performance and inform strategy.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on prioritization and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset and experience working cross-functionally with product, delivery, and marketing teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a startup, scale-up, or innovation-driven environment is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working on-site in Brisbane City, QLD, and participating in client meetings and networking events as needed.
