Your Role

As a Project Architect, you’ll be right in the thick of the action, working closely with our Director and gaining hands-on experience from inception to construction. You’ll manage multiple projects, liaise with clients and consultants, and bring innovative designs to life.

What You Bring

• Experience: 5+ years of post-qualification experience, 5+ years of local expertise and experience with Class 2 buildings.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in ArchiCAD (versions 19-28).
• Passion & Detail: A keen eye for design details and a proactive approach to your work.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication abilities to build strong relationships with clients, builders and team members.
• Learning Mindset: A genuine interest in current design trends and an eagerness to grow professionally.
• Time Management: Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and delegate tasks, meet deadlines, and manage demands in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Development Applications (DA), Construction Certificates (CC), and Complying Development Certificates (CDC).
• Develop detailed construction documentation.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Stay informed on relevant Building Code of Australia (BCA) standards and safe design principles.
• Create detailed working drawings and specifications.
• Delegate tasks and manage deadlines.
• Participate in product and finish selections.
• Assist with Contract Administration under the guidance of the Director.

Bonus Points

• An interest in interior design and knowledge of heritage buildings will be highly valued!
