CASA B1 Unrestricted or B2 LAME with type rating on A220 or Dash 8 Q400

Who are we looking for? We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical and Avionics) to join our team in Canberra, ACT. Your roleIn This Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;
• Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
• Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;
• Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment, and;
• Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.

The essential requirements

• 3+ years experience on A220 or Dash 8 or turboprop aircraft;
• Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical and Avionics) & CASA or EASA Licenced;
• Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.
• Strong team player;
• Ability to follow supervisory direction;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
• Passion for safe work practices;
• Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain);
• Current Australian Driver's licence; and
• Valid work visa;
• Visa sponsorship offered

Shifts will be primarily a rotating 4 on 4 off shift roster shift.
