Are you an experienced Project Manager who thrives on delivering high-quality projects and leading successful teams? This is your opportunity to join a WA Commercial Builder and take ownership of projects from design through to completion. Our client is a leading commercial builder who specialise in commercial, mixed-use developments, aged care, education, retail and hospitality.
About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of projects across safety, quality, cost, programme, and client satisfaction. You’ll lead a high-performing team, manage stakeholders, and ensure strong compliance with contractual, financial, and HSEQ requirements.
Your leadership will drive outcomes across design management, budget forecasting, programme control, and client reporting – while building lasting relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor project teams including Contract Administrators, Site Managers and Supervisors.
- Oversee projects to ensure safety, quality, time, and cost objectives are met.
- Manage contracts, budgets, forecasting, and monthly reporting.
- Proactively manage design, risk, and stakeholder requirements.
- Foster strong HSEQ culture and ensure compliance with systems and standards.
- Build and maintain client and consultant relationships to secure repeat business.
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related discipline (or trade + experience).
- Experience on projects of value over $50million +
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
- Strong knowledge of the WA building industry and contracting models (D&C, ECI, GMP, Cost Plus).
- Excellent financial and commercial acumen.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable: Proficiency with ACONEX, Jobpac, Hammertech, Bluebeam, plus strong industry networks and professional body memberships (AIB, AIQS, RICS, CIOB, MBA).
