
Visual Merchandise & Design Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a creative and commercially driven VM Design & Operations Specialist to join our team in our Support Office in Malvern for 3 - 4 days per week. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the Perri Cutten visual identity, aligning with seasonal trends and product direction. Your innovative ideas will translate into engaging window displays, in-store experiences, and promotional materials that captivate customers and drive sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visual Merchandising Direction: Set the visual merchandising strategy that aligns with our product range, key trends, and overall creative brand direction
- Window Concepts: Develop creative window displays that reflect our marketing and seasonal product initiatives
- Creative & Promotional Material: Create all print materials to support promotions and seasonal campaigns
- Store Layouts: Design floor plans and product flow to optimize the shopping experience and achieve commercial targets
- Props & Suppliers: Source and coordinate props, working closely with external suppliers to bring your window concepts to life
- Communication: Provide clear and detailed visual merchandising briefs and documentation to guide the retail team on installations and VM direction
What are we looking for?
- Experience in similar role
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable however not essential)
- Strong experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Excel, and Microsoft office
- A keen eye for detail and an analytical approach
- Strong commercial and retail acumen
- A genuine love and understanding of our brand
- Strong communication skills and high level of people and relationship management skills
- Effective time management - an ability to prioritise to achieve results
- Ability to work under pressure and think on your feet
- A position ‘can do’ attitude
- A current driver’s License and vehicle
- The ability to travel to various store locations throughout Australia as required
