We are looking for a creative and talented External Communication professional to join our Marketing & Communication team. You will coordinate and deliver a range of exciting external communication activities. The role is responsible for the development and delivery of strategic external communication, including managing sponsorships, partnerships with the Defence industry, event coordination, and deliver campaigns in support of growth. Key Responsibilities

• Execute the external communications tactics required to deliver strategic brand and growth campaigns, including stakeholder mapping, communication channel identification, development of content. Leverage our existing media, social media, and advertising channels.
• Lead engagement with external suppliers and agencies, ensuring strong partnerships are established and maintained.
• Lead on major partnerships with industry, providing support on events such as Land Forces.
• Create and embed a culture of continuous improvement by implementing repeatable processes to manage operations most effectively.
• In partnership with the Director of Marketing & Communication, manage campaign operational budgets and report on budgetary issues or concerns.

To Be Successful In The Role

• You'll have experience in an external communications role gained in a complex, matrixed corporate environment.
• Hold a University Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Journalism, or equivalent experience.
• Ideally 10 years prior relevant experience.
• Expert writing and editing skills
• Experience in delivering tactics associated with communication strategies.
• Experience in delivering communication activities as part of strategic campaigns.
