Solution 4 Building (S4B) is a growing commercial builder based in Carlisle, delivering high-quality construction projects across Western Australia. Our projects range from $300k to $15M, including new builds, refurbishments and upgrades for schools, education facilities, local government assets, community buildings and recreation centres.
We are a team-driven company with a strong reputation for professionalism, high standards and a supportive work culture. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Contract Administrator to join our commercial team.
This remuneration will be dependant upon expiernce
We will consider:
- A CA with 1–10+ years’ experience in commercial construction, or
- A recent Construction Management graduate looking to step into a structured CA role with real mentoring and career growth.
This is an office-based administrative role working closely with our Site Managers and subcontractors.
Your Responsibilities
You will support the delivery of multiple commercial projects through effective contract and procurement administration. Duties include:
Contract & Project Administration
- Managing contractual documentation for allocated projects
- Preparing RFI’s, extension of time claims, notices, and client variations
- Reading & interpreting drawings, specifications, and project scopes
- Reviewing site instructions, subcontractor variations and cost changes
Procurement & Site Coordination
- Raising purchase orders & obtaining quotations
- Assisting with subcontractor packages and procurement schedules
- Running site start-up meetings and fortnightly regular site meetings
- Minute-taking and project correspondence
Stakeholder Support
- Liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors
- Supporting the Director & Site Managers
- Providing regular project updates and maintaining accurate records
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced CA in commercial construction OR a relevant degree (Construction Management or similar)
- Strong understanding of the WA construction industry
- Ability to confidently interpret drawings and specifications
- Experience preparing variations and contractual documentation
- Professional communication skills – written & verbal
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Current Australian work rights
- Current driver’s licence, vehicle and White Card
