The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer to join a high-performing site team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, delivering a portfolio of capital projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Managing end-to-end delivery of capital projects ranging from $100k to $1M
• Scope, plan and execute projects in line with site and business objectives
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders including contractors and suppliers
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and handover of equipment and systems
• Support site operations with minimal disruption during project execution
• Drive safety, compliance, and risk management across all project activities
• Maintain clear documentation, reporting, and project governance standards

Your Background

You will be a hands-on and proactive Project Engineer who enjoys working closely with operations and delivering tangible outcomes on site, along with the following experience:

• Degree qualified in Mechanical, Process, or Electrical / Automation Engineering
• Proven experience delivering small to mid-sized capital projects end-to-end
• Experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong stakeholder engagement and contractor management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Practical, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving capability
• Sound understanding of safety and compliance within industrial environments
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline
