The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer to join a high-performing site team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, delivering a portfolio of capital projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Managing end-to-end delivery of capital projects ranging from $100k to $1M
- Scope, plan and execute projects in line with site and business objectives
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders including contractors and suppliers
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and handover of equipment and systems
- Support site operations with minimal disruption during project execution
- Drive safety, compliance, and risk management across all project activities
- Maintain clear documentation, reporting, and project governance standards
Your Background
You will be a hands-on and proactive Project Engineer who enjoys working closely with operations and delivering tangible outcomes on site, along with the following experience:
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Process, or Electrical / Automation Engineering
- Proven experience delivering small to mid-sized capital projects end-to-end
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong stakeholder engagement and contractor management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Practical, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving capability
- Sound understanding of safety and compliance within industrial environments
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline
