South Australia PoliceJob reference: 681818 Location: 5000 - ADELAIDE Job status: Ongoing Eligibility: Open to Everyone Ongoing, fulltime vacancy The Financial Accountant is accountable to the Manager, Financial Control for the management of property damage claims, assisting in the development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures for service functions (e.g. financial accounting, taxation, accounts payable, accounts receivable), providing advice and information to members and management of policies, processes and strategies relating to Public Finance and Audit Act, Treasurer Instructions and Government Financial Frameworks (e.g. GST and FBT) and monitoring service level agreements with Shared Services SA. The Financial Accountant will also assist in management accounting tasks and other areas within the Branch as required. Special Conditions
- The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.
