Role Description This is a full-time, office and on-site role for a Contracts Administrator – Remedial Construction based in St. Peters, Sydney, NSW.
The Contracts Administrator will support remedial construction projects by preparing, reviewing, and administering contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant legislation. Typical day-to-day tasks include drafting and issuing project claims, EOTs and progress claims tracking variations, managing sub-contracts, and maintaining accurate contract and project records. The role will coordinate with project managers, site teams, suppliers, and clients to clarify scope, resolve contractual queries, and support timely project delivery. The Contracts Administrator will also assist with tender preparation, cost reporting, and the implementation of company systems and audit requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction or remedial building contract administration.
- Skills in document control, record-keeping, and use of project or contract management software (Jobpac).
- Strong numeracy and analytical abilities for cost tracking, variations, progress claims, and basic forecasting.
- Knowledge of relevant construction contracts, standards, and legislation in NSW.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project managers, site personnel, clients, and suppliers.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a busy project environment.
- Prior experience in remedial construction or building rehabilitation projects is desirable.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement within established business systems and audit frameworks.
