Project Manager | Adelaide CBD (Hybrid) | Contract to Sept 2026 | Up to $100 per hour + SuperGovernment Program – Finance Systems Transition We’re supporting a large government initiative that requires an experienced Project Manager to backfill a key resource from early January. Looking for someone who can operate with autonomy, guide senior finance stakeholders, and deliver outcomes without heavy oversight. You’ll support several small government agencies and finance teams through the planning, coordination and transition tasks required to implement a new whole-of-government Oracle financial system. While the core program is being delivered centrally, this role ensures each agency is prepared, organised and delivering on its allocated responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project documentation (Gantt charts, risk and issue registers, decision logs, actions etc.) across multiple small government entities
• Support finance leaders in identifying transition requirements (e.g., banking, taxation, credit cards, AP)
• Coordinate planning, readiness activities, stakeholder engagement and information gathering
• Assist with transition tasks through preparation, testing, training, go-live and hyper-care (through to September 2026)
• Liaise with a central delivery program and guide local teams around expectations and deliverables

About You

• Strong project management experience with the confidence to work independently and provide informed advice
• Understanding of financial systems implementation (Oracle exposure desirable)
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different agencies
• Experience in change management (readiness assessments, communications, coordination) highly beneficial
• Government experience desirable but not essential

• Rate: Up to $100 per hour + Super
• Duration: Through to September 2026 (aligned to go-live and hyper-care)
