Finance Analyst - Costing

About The Role We’re seeking a high impact Finance Analyst – Costing on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. You’ll be a trusted finance business partner to Supply Chain and Operations, this role supports Product Management, Brand Marketing, Finance, and Commercial teams. The Finance Analyst – Costing is responsible for overseeing finished goods inventory costing, including delivering new product costings and supporting the annual Standard Cost build. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, the role leverages strong analytical and problem-solving skills to provide insight, improve processes, and drive impactful outcomes. Key Responsibilities Include

• Deliver insightful monthly financial performance analysis with forward-looking, actionable commentary.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Commercial stakeholders (including cross-region teams) to provide insights on finished goods inventory costing.
• Provide key inputs to the annual Standard Cost build and JDE Cost Roll.
• Support finished goods costing budgets and maintain accurate costing/financial data in relevant systems (e.g., JDE).
• Turn around costing requests from Marketing/Product within SLAs, ensuring accurate costs in NPD gate papers, and maintain integrity via BOM audits/corrections.
• Strengthen governance and value creation through balance sheet reconciliations, year-end/audit support, transfer price accuracy, cost optimisation, and process improvement.

What You’ll Bring

• University degree in accounting/finance or related discipline
• 1-3 years’ relevant experience in Accounting or Finance based roles
• Well-developed computer skills, particularly PC based applications including MS Excel, PowerPoint & Word
