About The Team The Modelling & Engineering team at AEMO drives innovation in the National Electricity Market (NEM), tackling critical system assessments, major incident reviews and the integration of new network capacity. We manage vital power system data, oversee the data request process, and support the latest technology upgrades. Join us during an exciting period of growth, where you'll help guide AEMO’s software modelling strategy and develop the tools and standards that shape our energy future. About The Role As Administrative Coordinator in AEMO’s Network Modelling and Information (NMI) team, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering vital power system data to external stakeholders. Collaborating closely with expert engineers, you’ll help support the centre of excellence for power system modelling and manage the streamlined provision of modelling information, including Operations and Planning Data Management System snapshot data, to registered and prospective market participants via our data request inbox. This is a fixed-term, one-year opportunity to play a key role in shaping Australia’s energy future.What You Will Be Doing This role supports two key priorities in AEMO’s Corporate Plan: operating today's systems and markets and navigating the energy future. Delivery of this role includes:
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to manage the end-to-end provision of data to stakeholders and respond on their queries.
- Manage daily activities for data request inbox, starting from receiving the data request to confirming that the data has been received by the stakeholder.
- Implement and update AEMO procedures regarding data request management including supporting the future automation of elements of this task to reduce manual activities.
- Support management of the SharePoint site used for data provision to stakeholders.
- Provide feedback on received, closed and in progress data request.
- Maintain internal documents showing record of invoices raised and payment received.
What You Will Bring To The Role
- Extensive experience in admin coordination roles within corporate environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including technical understanding.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, DocuSign, Adobe Acrobat)
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects effectively
- Self-motivated with strong organisational and problem-solving skills, able to work independently and in a team
- High attention to detail and ability to provide quality recommendations to stakeholders
