About the Opportunity The Corporate Records Support Officer plays a key role in ensuring the City of Adelaide’s records are digitised, maintained, and managed in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
Working as part of the Information Management Program, this role is responsible for the accurate scanning, registration, and classification of official documentation, as well as the efficient processing and distribution of mail. This includes receipting, sorting, and liaising with teams across the organisation to prioritise and manage records for digitisation.
With a focus on delivering high-quality customer service, the Corporate Records Support Officer contributes to maintaining data integrity within the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS), supports statutory compliance under the State Records Act 1997, and helps facilitate the secure handling and disposal of records.
Day-to-day, this role also assists with maintaining scanning equipment, supporting team members with file retrievals and service requests, and contributing to the broader success of the Corporate Records team.

About You To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrable experience in filing and electronic registration of records.
- Understanding of automated electronic registration and workflow systems.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with peers and business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to make independent decisions and work under limited direction, having regard to organisational policy guidelines, practices and political influences.
- Ability to prioritise and be flexible when responding to changing priorities and demands.
