IT Support Officer- Providing Technical Support and Maintaining IT Systems Across the Automation DivisionAbout Us Diverseco is a leading Australian provider of weighing, automation, robotics, and service solutions, supported by a national network of technical experts. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an ICT Helpdesk and Support Administrator to join our Automation division and contribute to delivering seamless technology support across our operations. About The Role The ICT Helpdesk and Support Administrator plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of Diverseco’s IT systems and providing technical support to employees and clients. This position involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, maintaining computer systems, supporting our in-house software platforms (Harmony and Cubemaster), and assisting with system rollouts and documentation. This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, learning new technologies, and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to service requests via phone, email, or ticketing system from internal users and clients.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support across hardware, operating systems, and software applications including Harmony and Cubemaster.
  • Install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software systems.
  • Identify and prioritise service requests, ensuring timely resolution and high first-time fix rates.
  • Assist with IT system implementations and upgrades across various platforms.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for all support tickets and IT procedures.
  • Manage and update the group equipment register.
  • Develop automation scripts to improve efficiency and task performance.
  • Support Cubiscan PC setups and software installations.
  • Collaborate with the broader Automation and IT teams to maintain consistent technical standards.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for customers and technicians across multiple time zones.
  • Maintain safety and compliance in all activities, adhering to OHS, trade measurement, and quality assurance standards.

About You You are a proactive, customer-focused IT professional who thrives on solving problems and supporting others. You’re adaptable, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team while continuously improving your technical skills. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT or technical support roles.
  • Certificate or degree in Information Technology or Engineering (Control Systems, Computer Systems, Computer Science, Electronics, or Mechatronics).
  • Strong understanding of hardware, OS environments, and software support.
  • Experience with Wiki, CRM (D365), VM environments, and VoIP systems.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with a focus on documentation and customer service.
  • Valid Australian driver’s licence and work rights.

Special Conditions

  • Availability during business hours, with flexibility for occasional after-hours or weekend work.
