About The Role This newly created 18-month fixed term role will see you partner closely with leaders across Pace Farm to deliver practical, end-to-end people support across multiple regional, blue-collar sites. With a strong focus on employee relations, performance management, investigations, grievances, coaching and team development, the P&C Business Partner plays a key role in strengthening culture, lifting capability and supporting change initiatives. Based at Buchanan and working part-time (up to 30 hours per week), the role involves regular travel and operates with a high level of trust, autonomy and support from a coaching-focused leader. What You’ll Do
- Lead performance management, investigations, grievance resolution, and mediation across multiple sites including Tamworth, Scone, Cobark, Buchanan and the Newcastle region
- Partner with leaders to coach, mentor, and build high-performing teams and a positive, values-led culture.
- Deliver HR support across employee relations, remuneration and benefits, workforce planning, succession planning, HRIS, superannuation, and learning and development.
- Provide guidance on HR processes, including performance reviews, and support line managers in practical, hands-on ways.
- Prepare, analyse, and report HR metrics, providing insights and recommendations to drive business performance.
- Monitor legislative and industrial relations changes and implement updates to policies and practices as required.
- Facilitate training and capability-building sessions to support change and continuous improve-ment.
- Lead and support HR projects that enhance team performance, succession planning, and busi-ness culture.
- Manage complex employee matters, including EBA negotiations, workplace disputes, termina-tions, and unfair dismissal processes.
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and maintain high standards of HR process, data accuracy, and professionalism.

- Proven track record as an HR Business Partner in a blue-collar or industrial environment, ideally within agriculture, food manufacturing, or transport/logistics.
- Formal HR qualification.
- Stand-alone, self-driven, and able to hit the ground running across multiple sites.
- Strong knowledge of WHS systems, auditing, Awards, and relevant legislation.
- Skilled in performance management, employee relations, investigations, grievance resolution, and dispute management.
- Experience facilitating training, leading change, and building high-performing teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in basic data entry, Microsoft Office suite, and HRIS systems.
- Confident decision-maker with a practical, hands-on approach and constructive leadership qualities.
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to work with a wide range of personality types in diverse, operational environments.
- Willing and able to travel regularly across regional sites.
