Reporting into the Regional Manager - West, the new Sales Team Leader - NT / SA will be based at our Winnellie office in Darwin, Northern Territory and enjoy flexibility, a healthy work-life balance, and have the option of hybrid working. You will operate as a key commercial leader, responsible for driving performance, capability, and strategic account success across Northern Territory and South Australia.
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Lead a highly successful, trained, and collaborative Sales team;
- Support the Regional Manager with SWOT insights and implementing the regional plan;
- Oversee weekly funnel reviews, team execution, and as required, act as the escalation point for customers
- Manage financial, staffing, and physical resources effectively and efficiently;
- Personally manage a portfolio of strategic and senior level customer accounts;
- Partner with the Service, Sales and Rental teams across ANZ to achieve synergy;
- Oversee collaboration between Sales and Channel teams for indirect customers;
- Ensure currency and accuracy of records in the CRM and project tools;
- Report on sales and forecast to management and key stakeholders;
- Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and;
- Always ensure a safety-first approach.
The ideal candidate will be equipped with the following attributes:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience;
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar operational, people, and technical leadership role;
- 5+ years’ experience in a technical sales and marketing role;
- Commercially disciplined with experience in forecasting, pricing, and resource management;
- Adept in sales techniques and training, coaching, and mentoring technical sales teams;
- Willingness to travel across APAC as part of the role;
- Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn;
- Exemplary understanding of compliance rules and ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards, and;
- Excellent leadership, relationship building, influencing, negotiation, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
A Police Check will be required for this position.
