EzyFlats is a licensed Australian real estate agency specialising in furnished medium-term rentals — stays of roughly 2 to 12 weeks, filling the gap between short Airbnb stays and standard 12-month leases. We work with property owners, Airbnb managers and short-term rental operators across Australia to get their properties booked by relocating professionals, corporate travellers, and families in between homes.
We already have properties live in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast and are seeing strong booking activity — which means well-suited properties tend to convert quickly, and commission is typically earned sooner rather than later. We're now looking to expand our Queensland footprint further and want someone locally connected — or willing to build those connections — to introduce us to more property owners, Airbnb managers and STR operators in the region.
How the role works
This is a pure referral role, not a listing or admin job. You identify the right people and properties, make the introduction, and explain the opportunity — our team handles everything from there, including onboarding, listing, and managing the booking process.
We only pay for results. A property that sits unbooked isn't worth anything to either of us, so instead of paying for volume of listings, we pay $200 per property once that property receives its first completed booking through EzyFlats.
Example: you introduce an Airbnb manager running 20 properties. EzyFlats successfully lists and books 10 of them. You're paid for those 10 — $2,000 total — regardless of how many properties didn't convert.
Given the current pace of bookings, well-matched properties often don't sit idle long — so this isn't a slow-burn commission structure where you're waiting months to see a return. Likely, 2-3 weeks between introduction, listing, to active bookings.
What you'll actually be doing:
- Researching and identifying Queensland property owners, Airbnb hosts, co-hosts, and short-term rental operators who have furnished properties that could suit medium-term stays
- Reaching out and introducing EzyFlats — explaining who we are, how the model works, and why it's worth their time
- Screening for genuine fit: properties that are furnished, available, and realistically bookable, rather than chasing volume for its own sake
- Facilitating the handoff — connecting interested owners/operators with our onboarding team so we can take it from there
Who tends to succeed in this role:
- People already embedded in property, real estate, Airbnb management, or short-term accommodation circles in Queensland, with existing contacts to tap into
- Those with relocation, corporate housing, or accommodation industry experience who understand what makes a property "bookable"
- Outbound sales or business development people comfortable with cold outreach and explaining a value proposition
- Anyone looking for a flexible, low-commitment side income who's willing to make some calls and introductions in their own time
The setup:
- Fully remote, work on your own schedule
- Commission-only: $200 per property paid on first successful completed booking
- No cap on earnings, no exclusivity — take on as much or as little as suits you
