About The Role The Work and Study Specialist will work with young people who experience barriers to employment and/or education to support them to achieve their vocation and/or education goals. This position is a full-time opportunity to 30 June 2026 with possibility of extension based on ongoing government funding. Benefits & Perks

Duties
- Work with young people to provide individualised career development services to support gain employment
- Build partnerships with external organisations that increase access to vocational opportunities
- Provide assertive outreach work to support and link young people with suitable opportunities.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications including relevant professional registration as required and/or experience in employment services, vocational rehabilitation, career development or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of issues that impact young people when accessing employment and/or educational opportunities
- Demonstrated understanding of issues affecting the health and wellbeing needs of young people with mental health and/or substance use problems
- Experience developing good business relationships
About Headspace Tuggeranong headspace provides support to young people aged 12-25 experiencing mild to moderate or emerging mental health issues. The multidisciplinary team at headspace Tuggeranong work to improve health, social, vocational and educational outcomes for young people. Grand Pacific Health is the lead agency of headspace Tuggeranong. We are a not-for-profit, primary health care organisation providing locally-tailored, high quality physical and mental health services across NSW and the ACT.
