Reporting into the People & Culture Manager for Victoria, this role is responsible for driving and cultivating a culture within the state that attracts and retains top talent, supports training and development initiatives to provide opportunities for career growth, and advocates safe and consistent work practices across the state.
You will support Restaurant Teams and Managers through the employee life cycle, including hiring, onboarding, training and rostering for retention.
This is a role that is instrumental in driving positive change through outstanding communication and creating a fun, collaborative environment led by the company values of People Power, Growth Mindset, 100% Guest Obsessed, Stronger Together and Make a Difference.
The key areas of responsibility for the People & Culture Advisor are to;
- Advocate and drive safety and wellness initiatives across the state with a pro-active approach to support WHS
- Ensure compliance with policies, legislation and record-keeping
- Coach and support managers as required in relation to Employee Relations / Industrial Relations issues
- Conduct workplace investigations in a thorough, timely, and impartial manner, as required
- Drive recruitment to support our restaurants delivering on 200% Guest Obsessed
- Support succession and workforce planning
- Support recognition, engagement, training and retention programs and activities
We are seeking an applicant who can demonstrate the ability to Unleash People Power and support the development of a dynamic workforce and culture through the attributes outlined below:

- Experience within the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) Industry
This role may also be suited to someone who has completed a Human Resources related tertiary course (Desirable but not essential).
