About Us
The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS), is responsible for the provision of infrastructure resources and support services to Members of Parliament and the Parliamentary Departments. Our teams bring together diverse cohorts, experiences and perspectives with roles ranging from horticulturists to chefs, broadcasters, librarians and corporate professionals - all with the end goal of delivering exceptional services.
During a typical day you will be:
- Leading the end‑to‑end delivery of a major Human Capital Management System (HCMS) transformation, overseeing planning, design, build, integration, testing, data migration, cutover and deployment.
- Managing procurement and vendor relationships, including RFx processes, evaluation, selection, contract negotiation and ongoing commercial performance management.
- Driving effective stakeholder and executive engagement, providing clear updates on progress, risks, financials and delivery outcomes.
- Coordinating cross‑functional teams - business SMEs, technical specialists, change leads and vendors - to keep delivery moving and resolve impediments quickly.
- Guiding organisational change and supporting successful adoption of new systems and processes, ensuring a smooth transition into business‑as‑usual operations.
You will be a great fit for this role if you:
- Bring proven experience delivering complex enterprise HCM or business system implementations from discovery through to go‑live.
- Have strong capability in procurement, RFx development, vendor evaluation and commercial/contract management.
- Thrive working within structured governance frameworks, using sound judgement to manage risks, issues, dependencies and scope changes.
- Excel at building relationships with senior stakeholders, communicating clearly, and influencing cross‑functional teams and partners.
- Have experience driving organisational change, supporting user adoption, and managing transition‑to‑operations for enterprise systems.
